Supervised the planning, marketing & production of major fundraisers for the 67 year-old producing
theatre, including: the CLO Guild Ball, the CLO Ambassadors’ Wine Tasting & Silent Auction and
the CLO Academy’s Taste for Talent. Solicited sponsors & donors and managed a corps of over 250
volunteers to produce events that netted more than $250,000 in 2013. Worked with Development to
maintain excellent relationships with top area companies like PNC Bank, Reed Smith & Federated
Investors. Also managed & marketed merchandise sold in CLO Boutiques that netted $42,000 in
2013 and Holiday Kiosks at five area malls that netted $170,000.

Production Manager
Served as the PM & Technical Supervisor for all events in a historic 350 seat proscenium venue.
Provided professional advisement to inexperienced producing/presenting organizations in theatrical
& concert production. Responsible for $30,000 technical upgrades to lighting & sound systems as
well as the general maintenance & upkeep of a 100 year old non-profit theater. Assisted in the
creation, planning & marketing of in-house produced events. Tracked budgets & expenses. Hired
and scheduled Front of House staff. Managed interns. Ensured compliance with health, public safety
& ADA laws.

Owner & Manager
Created and ran a hybrid café & performance venue (200 person capacity). Voted 2008 Best
Coffeehouse in Pittsburgh by City Paper. Booked and marketed national & local music acts, and
created events & private catering packages. Events included concerts, dance recitals, non-profit
benefits, film screenings, classes & meet-ups. In addition, I also ran promotions, sent out press
releases, advertisements & managed street-teams to promote our events. I oversaw a staff of 15,
performed scheduling & payroll, accounting, marketing & promotion including social media, retail
& consignment operations, inventory control, and provided for the general upkeep, capital
improvement and compliance with health, public safety & ADA laws.

Pittsburgh International Children’s Festival
Director of Operations
Oversaw the setup & smooth running of the annual International Children’s Festival produced by the
Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and founded by Pittsburgh icon Mister Rogers. In 2008, I oversaw the
transition from the Festival’s former location in the Northside to their present location at the
University of Pittsburgh. Average attendance of 25,000 people per year. Planned, mapped & set up
event locations. Hired and coordinated a crew of 20 paid & volunteer staff. Oversaw the installation
of festival stages, tents, signage & exhibitors. Acted as liaison between producers, artists, exhibitors,
vendors & Pittsburgh government agencies to determine site needs. Provided accounting of setup &
site expenses.

G-20 Project Coordinator
Created and marketed programs, events & presentations for students & alumni of the Katz School of
Business based around the G-20 World Summit hosted by Pittsburgh in 2009. Created the G-20
World Tour program at Katz to educate students on each G-20 member country through
presentations, lectures & events. Booked and made travel arrangements for distinguished speakers
from foreign consulates & trade associations to participate in weekly round-table forums.
